Wooden ducks in boots are handmade by our artisans in Java, Indonesia. They are crafted from bamboo root wood and teak or acacia, and are either hand-painted or varnished. These bamboo ducks come in boots, shoes, or wellies, and are available in fine-sanded or fully painted finishes. Sizes include small, medium, or large, with or without a hat. Our bamboo ducks are made in Indonesia and exported worldwide in bulk quantities.

The photos above show our bamboo duck craftsmen working with bamboo root wood, cutting and shaping it. They attach teak or acacia wood for the head and feet. Later, they add boots, shoes, or wellies. It is also possible to order bamboo ducks with webbed feet, just like real ducks.
