We produce and export wooden duck carvings made in Indonesia. These hand-carved wooden ducks are crafted using bamboo root wood for the body and teak or acacia for the feet, shoes, and head. We source fast-growing giant bamboo roots, which are found in abundance on Java Island, particularly in rural villages. These roots, which were once discarded or burned, are now repurposed into beautiful wood carvings.

What does bamboo root look like? Please find photos of bamboo root wood below. Of course, they are not as clean as shown in the photos initially. We spend hours cleaning the roots to remove mud and dirt.
